What data we collect

We collect your data when you get in touch with us or carry out a piece of work with us. We use cookies on our website browser which do not collect personal data but rather collect information which helps us assess how the website is used and how it can be improved. We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data to perform the contract we are to enter into or have entered into with you. We may use your telephone number to contact you about a piece of work we are conducting . We will not contact you by telephone if you are registered on the Telephone Preferential Service (TPS) unless we have a specific opt-in from you for us to contact you by telephone or the call is of administrative nature. We will not use your number to send SMS.​ We only send you emails if you have given us your consent.

 

Third parties

We will not sell, trade or rent your personal data to any third party organisation.

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our services, to provide the services on our behalf or to assist us in analysing how our service is used. We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes. They can only process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

Your details are kept safely in secure cloud storage. We will never intentionally misuse or allow others to misuse any personal data it collects or holds. No personal information is stored on staff computers or external hard drives unless necessary. When this is required additional password protection is used to protect this information. We only record the information that is of use to our business.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. We are legally required to keep basic information about our customers (including contact, identity, financial and transaction data) for six years after they cease being customers, for tax purposes. We may also anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes. We can use anonymised information indefinitely without further notice to you.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
